Expedia, Flights Education, Marketing Email and Landing Page, 2025

In January 2025, the Expedia marketing team wanted to share the benefits of booking flights through Expedia for existing loyalty members. For this marketing production design project, I sourced the photography the Expedia Group’s photography database which went through the team’s stakeholder approval process. I then created the presentations for the email and landing page mockups using Figma which could normally goes through several rounds of revisions. A typical marketing production campaign could include additional mockups such as the email A/B tests, homepage, app screen, push notifications, affiliate ads, and social assets. Marketing campaigns requests to the Design team would usually include mockup sets for various regions with different requirements to consider including different languages, seasons, holidays, and local flavors.

For the US market, this email and landing page called for graphic icons overlayed on photography. The graphic icons were sourced from the internal brand and product teams and the photography was also from Expedia Group’s internal photography database.

The UK and Rest of World (ROW) marketing campaigns often have different messaging depending on if the loyalty programs were available in those points of sale regions. This email is overall less photo heavy and relies on the icons and descriptions to share the benefits of booking flights on the platform..
