Univers Typeface Poster

This poster project was made as an undergrad at UIC, School of Art & Design as an undergrad. This course taught me a lot about the graphic design principles and typography. The Univers typeface was designed by the typographer, Adrian Frutiger. A quote I want to highlight from Adrian Frutiger reads, “From all these experiences the most important thing I have learned is that legibility and beauty stand close together and that type design, in its restraint, should be only felt but not perceived by the reader.”

User Experience Studies: KitchenList App Case Study, 2015

In 2015, I attended a User Experience course through General Assembly. where I learned about the fundamental concepts, tools, and learned about the different project process methods. The final course project resulted in a case study presentation and a low fidelity level user interface mockup. The app case study I made is called KitchenList. The app is meant to address a household need to keep track of household items in an inventory list and a grovery shopping list that can be shared and modified by multiple users.

This is a collection of miscellaneous video projects for social media and for B2B video presentations. I produced these while working at Expedia Group’s Creative Design Team. These videos are smaller marketing production design projects for the Expedia Group brands including VRBO, Cheaptickets, ebookers, Expedia, Travelocity, and Orbitz between 2018-2022

VRBO Mother’s Day Social Video, 2022

In this VRBO Mother’s Day social video for Facebook and Instagram, I worked the type animation which is meant to emulate typing in a messaging app.

The graphic design of this CyberWeek campaign was created by my former coworker in the Expedia Group’s Creative Design Team, Becky Wardinsky. For these Cheaptickets CyberWeek assets, I animated the copy and graphics. This video features 3x videos that launched throughout the month of November 2021.

These ebookers My Switzerland campaign videos were produced in September 2020 by the ebookers brand team’s partner agency. I worked on adding the type animation to the videos set in the languages Swiss German and Swiss French.

ebookers, Hockey Heroes, Motion Titles for Social Video, 2020

The Hockey Heroes video was produced by the ebookers Brand Team’s partner agency in September 2020. For this social video production project, I worked on adding title animations and did some minor video editing.

Expedia, Airport Digital Screen Ad, 2020

This was a digital screen ad campaign launched in June 2020 for the Pearson Toronto Airport. The design and photography was provided by the Expedia brand team and their partner agency. The brand team requested simple fade in/out transition for the copy. The Expedia brand at this time was featuring a brand refresh with new original photography.

This social video project was produced in March 2019 for Instagram and Facebook was promoting Travelocity content for 8 Bucket List Family Vacations. I worked on the video editing and type animation. I collaborated with this project with one of the Expedia Groups Creative Team’s Content Writer and Content Producer who contributed to the creative direction, sourcing the stock video footage and music.

Orbitz Advisory Board, B2B Partner Presentation Video Clips Compilation, 2018

In October 2018, Orbitz launched the Orbitz Advisory Board portal featuring B2B Partner videos presented by the Orbitz Brand Marketing team. This video edit features clips from 3 video presentations. I worked on the video editing, graphic design, and motion graphics for a total of 6 videos. The team had requested that the videos be short and the type animation segments move quickly . Each video ran for around between 1 to 1:30min. The footage was filmed in-house by the Creative team’s Content Producer at Expedia Group.
